30 Game-Day Snacks

The best football food is comforting, shareable and, above all, familiar. It’s when we break out our tried-and-true recipes for contest-winning chili, spicy or sticky chicken wings and kitschy football-shaped foods. But if you just need some low-lift small bites, these game-day snacks can help fill out the spread. They are our go-to options when throwing a Super Bowl party.

All these recipes are perfect for easy, mindless snacking while watching the game. Expect plenty of bacon-wrapped recipes. Enjoy hot dips like spicy buffalo chicken and creamy spinach artichoke. Try slightly elevated snack mixes such as spiced nuts, white chocolate Chex Mix, and pizza-flavored oyster crackers. No game day is complete without sliders, mini meatballs and nacho recipes, so there are plenty of those, too.

Many of these are gluten-free or vegetarian-friendly, making it easy to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions. Appease anyone who’s only there for the pop-culture moment of the half-time show. Make them feel seen by adding one or two Taylor Swift Super Bowl food ideas to the table. Even if you’re not much of a cook, you can make easy mixed drinks. Alternatively, you can make beer cocktails to sip on through the game.
