Simple, Practical Meals for Real Life

Summer is finally here, and over the next few months this blog is taking a slightly different direction — one inspired by simple cooking, smaller spaces, and easy comfort food meals perfect for warm weather living.

This summer I’ll be sharing a brand-new collection of Campground Meals designed for real life. Whether you’re cooking in an RV, spending weekends at a campground, managing a small kitchen, or simply trying to avoid heating up the house during the summer, these recipes are all about keeping meals easy, practical, and delicious.

You can expect:

  • one-pan dinners
  • easy cleanup meals
  • air fryer recipes
  • electric skillet meals
  • budget-friendly comfort food
  • recipes made with simple grocery store ingredients
  • meals designed for smaller refrigerator and freezer space

One thing I really wanted this series to focus on is realistic summer cooking. Instead of giant grocery hauls and complicated ingredients, many of these recipes will build around a few affordable staples that can be used in multiple meals throughout the week.

We’re kicking things off with smoked sausage meals this month — hearty, flavorful recipes that work beautifully for campground cooking and busy summer nights alike.

I’m excited to share this summer series with you, and I hope these recipes help make your own summer cooking a little easier and a lot more enjoyable.

Let’s get cooking! 🌭⛺☀️
