Creamy Chicken & Vegetable Skillet

Introduction

When you’re trying to stretch your grocery budget, variety matters just as much as saving money. Using the same ingredients in different ways keeps leftovers from feeling repetitive, and today’s Creamy Chicken & Vegetable Skillet is a perfect example.

Tender pieces of our Simple Campground Herb Chicken are combined with colorful vegetables in a light, creamy sauce that’s ready in about 20 minutes. Everything cooks in one skillet, making cleanup easy whether you’re cooking at the campground or in your home kitchen.

  3. Add the broccoli and garlic and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle the flour over the vegetables and stir well.
  5. Slowly whisk in the chicken broth until smooth.
  6. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken.

  10. Serve immediately over your favorite starch—or enjoy it just as it is.

Notes

Notes
  • Removing the skillet from the heat before adding the Greek yogurt helps prevent it from curdling.
  • Use whatever vegetables you already have in the refrigerator.
  • This recipe is a wonderful way to clean out the vegetable drawer before grocery shopping.
